When we “float above” we gain perspective. We see what truly matters versus what's urgent, and can make decisions for the greater good versus decisions out of emotion or reactivity. From this vantage point, the next steps often become clearer whether in strategy, process, or personal growth.
The phrase helps people get unstuck. It can help you see the flow of a business, the arc of a relationship, the direction of a career, or even the trajectory of a life. It brings calm, freedom, and focus. From there you know where you want to go and can define the steps to get there...or see the potential ripples of various decisions.

About the Founder
I'm Jessica Collette and I help people find their direction in times of personal, professional, or organizational change.
Over my 20+ year career, I've collaborated with boards, executive teams, and community partners to design systems that balance financial discipline with culture-driven leadership. My approach blends strategic foresight, operational excellence, and smart use of technology, with care for people at the center.
Along the way I've learned a thing or two, as well as developed a few tools and practices that have been life-bettering. I realized if they could help me, they could help others...so why not share? I created Float Above Ventures to do just that.
FAV is a platform for new ideas, stories, and projects that empower people to thrive in transition and find comfort in community.
And if you care, I'm also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor®, and received my bachelor's from Michigan State University and an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
